Better Late Than Never!

Those are my thoughts as I start this post. So as I mentioned yesterday, life has been crazy, chaotic, stressful, and just down right mean lately. 

I have been to a viewing/funeral of a person I grew up with and he was only 2 years older than me when he died 2 weeks ago. He died due to some poor decisions and tragic circumstances. It was heartbreaking to watch his family suffer and to see his 3 children and know they will not get a chance to grow up with a daddy. The oldest is 6 and the youngest a month old. His family is grieving so heavily and I feel helpless in what to do. All I can do is pray and count my blessings everyday.

My family has also been going through a rough time lately, with different things and members. We are all struggling and we all fight battles that others know nothing about. A & L's parents are splitting up and they are not being the parents they should to these precious babies, it breaks my heart to see my babies being hurt.

Life is Heartbreaking

I started a new job about 2 1/2 months ago, I now get to work with children and adults. Its a huge change and one i'm not so sure I like. My confidence has been shaken and my skills have been tested. In a small town jobs are few and far in between for a LPN. Don't get me wrong I am thankful for a job that lets me pay my bills and also help my parents out. I just made a rushed decision I believe and now i'm stuck, for awhile. I need to get my butt in gear and get my RN and be done with it. 

The grass is not always greener on the other side

I know i'm venting but I don't care bc its my blog! My confidence is shaken and now I have to hitch up my big-girl panties and take control of my life and make my grown-ups decisions. 

Age does not make us wiser

Faith makes us stronger

Bad Blogger

So I know I am a bad blogger, but I really do have a good excuse. So right as I was ready to dive back into this lovely world we call blog land, we had a tragic accident pop up and things got crazy! Don't worry were all ok, but I can't say the same for some friend's of the family. I will go into more details tomorrow and explain. 

Then as things were beginning to settle down, it was time to go get my lil monkey's A and L. Well of course it wouldn't be a trip to my fam's without some major drama! A lil more about this later, lets just say I have A and he is doing great and but L had to stay home. 

In other news, I have made my first big-girl purchase! I bought a pool for my parent's house! I am super excited about it! We have had it installed and everything is set up! My dad is fixing to start setting up to make the deck, now that he has his new toy (nail gun) and the privacy fence is going up in about a week! I am so ready for some sun and relaxation! We got in Saturday and i'm already burnt :(

Work is literally trying to kill me and on top of that so is Turbo Fire, but its cool bc I am losing weight and making myself healthier!!

New Job

My job is literally trying to kill me!!!!!!!!

Sometimes I think I went into the wrong profession, I love being a nurse but hate working with all the BS!!!

I cannot wait until this nice 4 day weekend, I desperately need it!! 

I finally took some me time and had a massage today and it was glorious! I'm making it a monthly gig!!

I'm Back!!!!!!!!!

Ok so i'm back, I think ;)

I know I have been gone for several months, but I felt I needed a break and was getting burnt out with this whole having to have a post everyday bull. 

With my job the way it was I just couldn't commit to that. 

So a lot has changed since the last time I blogged. I will gradually go through everything that has changed in the up coming posts. I'm going to attempt to blog at least 3-4 times a week just to keep up with everything. 

I have really missed all my blog friends I have made and I am so happy to be back!

I have definitely been feeling the need to express myself on this here piece of the interwebs.  Life has a way of making you miss the simple things in life and that has been blogging and expressing myself in my own way, in my own words, in my own space. 

Please bear with me as I begin to post again and get back into the groove of blogging life!

I want to say thank you to all of those who are still following this little blog of mine and who have stuck by me in my times of absentie. 

I promise to try to keep up with my commitments and begin to comment again on all my fellow bloggers post that I read!

So hopefully this will signify my journey back into blog world fulltime!
