I'm Back!!!!!!!!!

Ok so i'm back, I think ;)

I know I have been gone for several months, but I felt I needed a break and was getting burnt out with this whole having to have a post everyday bull. 

With my job the way it was I just couldn't commit to that. 

So a lot has changed since the last time I blogged. I will gradually go through everything that has changed in the up coming posts. I'm going to attempt to blog at least 3-4 times a week just to keep up with everything. 

I have really missed all my blog friends I have made and I am so happy to be back!

I have definitely been feeling the need to express myself on this here piece of the interwebs.  Life has a way of making you miss the simple things in life and that has been blogging and expressing myself in my own way, in my own words, in my own space. 

Please bear with me as I begin to post again and get back into the groove of blogging life!

I want to say thank you to all of those who are still following this little blog of mine and who have stuck by me in my times of absentie. 

I promise to try to keep up with my commitments and begin to comment again on all my fellow bloggers post that I read!

So hopefully this will signify my journey back into blog world fulltime!

Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving to all my bloggy friends out there!

I was in Heaven, now not so much

So today I did something i've never done before, I got a MASSAGE!!

It was the most relaxing experience of my life! I was in heaven!

It was a little painful to begin with, but then I was loosened up and it felt so good. 

She told me I was super tense and that I had a lot of knots in my neck, hips, shoulders, and feet.

Because of being a nurse I kind of expected most of this, bc of being on my feet all day and all that jazz. She recommended a chiropractor also, anybody ever been to one? 

The atmosphere was amazing as well. She had candles burning, nature music playing, and the bed sheets were heated. The sheets were great bc it was kinda cold in the room. 

Needless to say it was a very relaxing hour and I will definitely be getting another one soon!

I also signed my mom up for one next week! She is excited too!

Now onto the not so much part, I am now in pain from how much kneading she did on my neck and shoulders. I can hardly move my neck or shoulders, bc they are sore from all the knots she was trying to alleviate. 

But on a good note I think i'll be able to sleep tonight. Oh yeah thats right y'all don't know, but I have been battling some intense INSOMNIA! I haven't been sleeping good and i'm tired all the time!!! It's terrible and I feel worthless most of the time. But my massage therapist told me to take a bath in lavender epsom salts before bedtime, so i'm gonna try that later this week. Its suppose to release the toxins in your body and lull you into sleep, we shall see ;) I will let y'all know how it works!

Update

So I know I haven't been around a lot lately, but it was with good reason. My little cousin L has been staying with us for about 3 weeks and he just went home yesterday. Needles to say when a 1yr old is involved it is very difficult to blog and work. I miss the little booger all ready and cant wait to see him & A next month for the holidays. 

Hopefully, I am back from now on! I dunno how all my nurse friends find the time to blog so much, I cant seem to get a handle on it and work the way we do. 

Oh in more nurse talk I finally joined the club and bought me a pair of Dansko shoes! I am so excited about them! They should be here tomorrow and I cant wait to try them on and see if its worth my $$$

So I finally got to meet a fellow blogger IRL!! I was so excited! But I must confess it was a total coincidence that we met, it wasn't a scheduled blate with Mrs. Jessica from Stilettos & A Fishing Pole. We were both in Lowes last thursday and happen to see each other. I was playing with L outside and she came up to me and was like "is your name Candace, i'm Jessica" I was like OMG I can't believe I finally get to meet a fellow blogger (there aren't too many bloggers in my area and I have yet to meet another blogger IRL)! So we chatted for a few mins and then we had to go. I hope to get to chat with her again soon!
