Sometimes and Always

Sometimes and Always


Sometimes: I want to do nothing more than take a nap
Always: I wind up doing it more than I should

Sometimes: I feel like God has forgotten me
Always: He comes along and shows me that He hasn't

Sometimes: I wanna sign up to run a 5K 
Always: I feel like i'm gonna die while running the program

Sometimes: I really don't wanna go to work 
Always: I love my job and push through no matter how difficult my day is

Sometimes: I feel like I am alone in my struggles
Always: I meet ppl who are dealing with the same things and make new friends!

I hope everyone is having a great day! I am going to try to start blogging more, we have been dealing with alot here and I haven't been able to put my mind to this. I love you all!

My Weekend

Ok so I know I have been MIA a lot lately, but its for a good reason! I have been super busy with work and hanging out with my little cousins! 
So now I will post some pics about why I have been gone!

Ok first off how cute are these? My mom made them for my niece and now I want some bows to accompany my blue blob uniforms I have to wear to work!

Fitness Friday

Ok so its that time again, time to link up with Kelly @ Today Was A Fairytale and yours truly!

So I know this is a little late, but I have been super busy taking care of my 4yr old little cousin and my 10 month old little cousin! So forgive me please!

So without further delay!


Starting weight: 232 

Today’s weight: 225

Difference from last week: 0 pounds

Total weight loss: 7 pounds

What I found easy this week: I haven't been eating as well this week with the kiddos being here, but I haven't gained weight so I call that a success! I have been keeping up with all my food in MyFitnessPal as well! You can follow me @ PurpleBug23

What I found hard this week: a lot has been going on this week and making it difficult to eat the way I am suppose to, but I am not gaining so thats great! Next week is new!

Goal for next week: to exercise and eat healthier!
My first goal: 30 pounds

My Reward: a new tattoo!


So I am almost to a 10 pound weight loss and I think im gonna reward myself with something nice for it too, but somewhat cheap! Dunno what yet, but I will let y'all know!

Fitness Friday #3

So its that time again, time for Fitness Friday with yours truly and Kelly @ Today Was A Fairytale!

I am super excited to share my journey with you guys again this week!


Starting weight: 232 

Today’s weight: 225

Difference from last week: -1 pounds

Total weight loss: 7 pounds

What I found easy this week: I found it pretty easy to eat healthy, but I have had some cravings that I had to make sure to not give into. I have also been eating out alot and still losing weight and eating pretty decent! I have been keeping up with all my food in MyFitnessPal as well! You can follow me @ PurpleBug23

What I found hard this week: I didn't get to exercise again this week due to some severe headaches. Hopefully I can start next week on the Couch25K. I have been craving chips like crazy this week! I am trying not to eat any so in a couple of weeks I wont crave them anymore! So I have indulged in my cravings just once, but i have been feeling hungry a lot more lately and im having to really withstand temptation.

Goal for next week: is to eat healthy while my little cousins are visiting and not overindulge!
My first goal: 30 pounds
